A couple of parts are needed to connect an IKEA ADDE chair to Pro Flight Trainer PUMA helicopter controls for flight simulator use. To achieve a 12-degree nose-up sit angle, all legs of the chair have been cut using a regular tube cutter, as they are made of mild steel. The blue shoes for the front legs are mounted on the PFT frame, which serves to position the chair and prevent the PFT from moving or tipping over. This setup provides a very comfortable flight position that accommodates all ranges of movement for the controls.
