To prevent shoe laces from slipping out of holes when tying a knot, follow these simple steps: Lace up your shoes as you normally would, but before tightening the final knot, take one end and pass it through the corresponding loop on the other side. Then, take the remaining lace and wrap it around the bottom lace to secure the knot in place. Give the laces a good tug to make sure they're snug. The knot should now be stable and not slipping out of the holes when you walk or run.
