Video clip of the mount in action: http://gfycat.com/completefaircarpenterant I'm not sure how well it will hold up yet, so I suggest using a tether from your chinstrap to the camera. The idea behind this bracket was that I wanted a sleek and streamlined mount that didn't look bolted on to the side of the helmet or onto the top. I also wanted a chin-mounted GoPro mount, but sadly the Shoei RF-SR helmet has a chin area completely occupied by the intake vent. A clip-on mount may work, but I haven't started development on one. The RF-1200 has a much better space for the mount, and in addition, I wanted the GoPro to sit with the lens as close to the center line of the helmet as possible. For a standard GoPro this works well, but for the Session, the lens will be slightly off to the side. As a final design goal, the chin vent needed to remain operable, so the slight offset helps with this too. It is designed to fit on the lower right side of the helmet as pictured (affixed with double-sided tape).
