Shoe Spikes
thingiverse
Mario Batali and many school children, including me, own a pair of Crocs that are great for walking the dog in cold weather. I've always wondered why they left those iconic holes open on top when they were supposed to keep my feet warm. Perhaps it was to sell those charms? To solve this problem, I used 3D printing to make spikes to plug those holes and save money. While I doubt many would want their own set of croc spikes, the base could be used for making derivatives, such as a makerbot M or a bunny rabbit charm - a perfect gift to excite kids about 3D printing!
