IV2019 format.I was inspired by a store installation that caught my eye - wooden slats holding up only the toes of shoes. I experimented extensively to make this work, and it turns out three spacings can accommodate all our footwear needs. The bottom slot holds nearly any boot without issue, including my Timberland steel-toed boots and motorcycle boots. The middle space comfortably fits tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes of every kind. Meanwhile, the top shelf is reserved for flip-flops and thin slippers.
