Shoe Phone Holder
thingiverse
The phone fits neatly in the shoes with a 4" screen, but bigger phones might require adjusting the size to fit perfectly. The texture of the printing matches well with fabric-covered shoes. The original shoe design was uploaded into Meshmixer and disassembled to create space for the phone stand. Since the original shoe was large - almost full size - it was resized to 75mm high. In Meshmixer, the shoe was then mirrored to make a matching pair, and two shoes were moved slightly near the toes. This design was imported into Cura to prepare for printing in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm and 60% fill. A Brim was used in Cura to stabilize the print on the table, especially for the high heel area. Adding supports to the heel might be necessary during printing. Mk3 Version A problem arose when printing - aligning the tall heel with the shoe body proved tricky. Supports were added halfway up the instep to lock the heel in place, resolving the issue. Still printed at 75mm high on a brim with 0.2mm and 60% fill settings. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: A Brim was used instead of a raft for printing, and supports were added between the heel and shoe; additional supports might be needed for larger prints.
