Shoe for Hakko FX888D Iron Stand
thingiverse
The stand for my Hakko FX888D soldering iron keeps sliding around on my workbench, often bumping the power switch by accident. To prevent this, I created a holder to secure it while I clean the tip with a metal sponge. I designed the holder in three parts because my 3D printer's bed is too small for printing one complete piece at once. Once assembled and fastened with No. 4 wood screws, the holder becomes very sturdy. If you have a larger-printer bed, you can print the included one-piece STL file instead of assembling the multi-part holder; I've provided the dimensions to match my original design. To facilitate modifications or improvements, I've included the FreeCAD source file. Print Settings: Brand - LulzBot, Printer - Mini, Rafts - No, Supports - No, Resolution - 0.25mm, Infill - 30%, Notes: Example printed in PETG.
