Shock Cord Wallet - V0.1
thingiverse
This is my first attempt at creating a design for a printable wallet that fits snugly into your pocket, yet offers the same functionality as its leather counterparts. It's far from being the final version of this file, and I'm actively working on adding an extra flap to store notes in a separate compartment with easy, secure access. If you want to create one of these wallets for yourself, you'll need some 3-4mm shock cord - less than a meter should suffice. Ideally, opt for the smaller diameter cord, as it seems to work seamlessly with the hook. Build Instructions: Begin by feeding the cord from the bottom side, which doesn't have the cord hook, and the underside, where there's less cut out. Continue working it through with both plates aligned until you reach the opposite side. Then, tie them together. The tension should be adjusted according to how many cards you want to fit in the wallet - aim for a fairly tight retaining loop to ensure security, and finish off by tying the loose ends using a reef knot. To close the wallet, simply lift the upper loop over the hook and voila!
