Shock-absorbing F450 landing gear
thingiverse
I'd be happy to share my concept for a shock-absorbing landing gear designed specifically for quadcopters featuring F450 frames. The basic idea involves connecting two legs positioned on opposite sides of the aircraft with a resilient cord, spring, or robust rubber band capable of absorbing some of the impact generated by hard landings. After manufacturing this design, I was faced with the challenge of obtaining flexible components; however, upon experimentation, I discovered that zip ties surprisingly served as suitable substitutes, at least to a certain extent.
