If you've bought a Chinese shock absorber, you must assemble this piece. This part is a spacer and also serves as a turnstop for the scooter handlebar, which is housed inside the rod, so you'll only need it if you buy a Chinese shock absorber that doesn't have good design. You should print it on the hardest and most resistant material you have, not flexible. The original one is made of iron, but this one does its job, however, don't force the handlebar turn too much when it hits because it might break since it's not made of iron. When I bought a shock absorber from Aliexpress and tried to assemble it, I realized that the rod body doesn't have a groove for the original piece to enter, so I designed this piece without the protrusions that go into that groove. Chinese shock absorbers are poorly designed and have several flaws to be solved, this spacer is one of them and another flaw is that the spring they bring is extremely hard, it doesn't absorb anything, besides the set leaves very little travel, just 10 or 15 millimeters, so you should buy a longer spring to gain more travel. I don't recommend these Chinese shock absorbers, but if you've bought one and can't return it because the shipping costs wouldn't be worth it, this is a solution to not have to throw it away. If after trying everything you see that the set might work for you, you should replace this piece with the original one, which needs to be filed down to remove the two protrusions and make the hole round so it can fit into the rod. I recommend printing this part on a hard and resistant material, such as plastic or metal. The original part is made of iron, but this one serves its purpose and allows for smooth turning of the handlebar without forcing it too much. The design of Chinese shock absorbers has several flaws, including the lack of a groove in the rod body for the spacer to fit into. This piece was designed to address that issue.
