Shock absorber key chain
thingiverse
This is a sleek 3D printed shock absorber, expertly crafted on a Prusa i3 and an Ultimaker. I discovered that the support generation in Prusa slicer yielded a superior finish on the spring but made it notoriously hard to remove completely. On the other hand, Cura's support removal process was ridiculously easy, but unfortunately, it left a less-than-perfect finish. This versatile model can be easily scaled down and repurposed as a handy keychain accessory. Watch this YouTube video for more details: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=othLcPL2GcA To simplify the support removal process, set the support xy separation distance to 200% - a game-changer. Additionally, enabling support roofing will give you an even better finish on the spring.
