Nataraja Naṭarāju, meaning "the lord of dance," is Shiva, the Hindu god, as the cosmic ecstatic dancer. His Tandavam or Nadanta dance is depicted in many Hindu texts, including the Anshumadbhed agama and Uttarakamika agama. The iconic pose and artwork are featured in all major Shaivite temples.
