This water wheel builds on a few more of my designs, with roots in https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2383723 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2374343, as well as some unreleased concepts yet to come. The ultimate goal is a completely self-sustaining Aquarium, from powering itself to cleaning itself, which requires several more parts still in development and currently being printed at high quality, leading to longer print times. The Industrial tech theme for the aquarium dictates that all outer nodes be designed within intermodal shipping containers that snap together like little plastic blocks; this unit sits beneath the filtration unit and catches clean water while spinning the water wheel, which is connected to my Halbach PM Generator - a crucial component still awaiting magnets from China. The blender file included offers a diagram explaining how to assemble the parts, with unnecessary components removed for user convenience. Once all parts are published, they will be compiled into a single thing; I'm also considering selling kits in the future.
