Timber from a ship on the Thames foreshore near the Mayflower pub at Rotherhithe, London was carefully salvaged from the waters edge. This area was notorious for its heavy use as a graveyard for ships. Alan Murphy, an avid mudlark and photographer, suggested this location, which he also actively helps to preserve with meticulous care of the timbers still in situ. In February 2020, Alan took 180 detailed photographs of the site with his trusty Sony a6000 camera, later processing them using Reality Capture software for enhanced clarity.
