Ship test 1
sketchfab
I spent nearly two decades without attempting to create a 3D model, but yesterday was my first time in over 17 years. Using the Oculus Blocks Program, I managed to complete a basic ship design within an hour. Although the process seemed fairly straightforward, getting everything aligned perfectly proved surprisingly challenging with only the pseudo-grid to guide me. A more comprehensive tutorial would be beneficial, as there were several controls that weren't covered in the existing instructions. Despite the setbacks, this model has potential and might still be useful for its intended purpose – serving as a visual representation of a story I'm working on. The textures didn't upload properly, which could have been a major issue if I had relied solely on them for the design's aesthetic.
