Ship in bottle - parameterised.
thingiverse
To improve transparency in my ship-in-a-bottle project, I designed a rounded triangular sectioned bottle with oval cutouts on two sides using SCAD software. The STL file for this version is named "tri 60 8.stl." Another STL file (MG triangular prism bottle.stl) features the same bottle without slots. A ship was purchased from eBay to fit within the designed bottle, and I scaled up the STL file by 1.8x for better compatibility. Printing occurred on an Ultimaker using DiamondAge PLA via Cura with a scale factor of 1.8, vertical orientation, no support, 0.1mm layers, and a layer time of approximately 10 seconds in the neck/shoulder area. The SCAD file is fully parameterized, allowing for both slot and slotless bottle models; however, note that F6 (Compile and Render) must be used to view these models, while F5 may cause issues.
