Ship

Ship

The ship from the amazing game Outer Wilds, slightly changed to add strength and make printing far easier than before. The biggest change is the legs and other delicate parts are separate, so they can (and should) be printed at 100% infill and with a strong infill pattern (I use cubic for these parts). The rear tank mount, the ship's feet (all three), and the 'lantern disc' and lantern should also be printed similarly to make them more durable as well. Other printing instructions: most everything else can be printed at <25% infill and can mostly be printed with quick infill patterns such as lines. The 'bulk', which is the large part that makes up the internal structure of the model, is most significantly simplified here, and it can be printed far more quickly and with 10% infill and the lines infill pattern. For more detail and much more strength, I recommend printing everything but the lantern at 150% size. The lantern looks better bigger so I printed it at 175% for the model in the images above. I printed everything at 0.2mm layer thickness. Thanks to Ampersand_Duralumin for allowing me to use their model! I hope that this modified version helps some people print more durable parts much more quickly.
