A versatile weapon crafted for the Prosthetic Art Challenge by VaatiVidya on Youtube, known as the Kuru-Kiru or Spring-loaded War Fans. This ranged device excels at swiftly bridging the distance between targets. Upon launching, the connected fans unleash a whiplash effect, slicing consecutively and inflicting severe bleeding. The momentum generated by the steel fans also imparts considerable speed to the user, propelling them forward with rapid force. By utilizing this innovative device, stealthy shinobi can now execute longer-range plunging takedowns with increased precision and deadliness. When brainstorming ideas, I drew inspiration from existing game weapons, seeking to create something novel that would set my design apart. With that goal in mind, I aimed to craft a gap-closer capable of both bridging distances and dealing damage, while also enriching the stealth gameplay experience with its unique functionality.
