Shingle Mount for Wire Antenna
thingiverse
This item is in development. The prototype was just printed, but has yet to be tested yet. Bound to change. Pics coming. Living in an HOA and being a Amateur Radio Operator can be challenging. Without adequate space to crawl through the attic, and no way to string an antenna up, another method of erecting a wire antenna was needed. Christmas light hangers work fine, but the fact that they become brittle from UV exposure requires them to be replaced every 6 months or so. This is an attempt to create a shingle mounted antenna clip to hold my random wire antenna. PETG has been used due to it's strength and resistance to UV damage. Can be printed without supports. Print settings reflect on what worked for the test. Results may vary.
