Shingle Clip Tall Edge PVC

thingiverse

Designed specifically for Christmas lighting, this innovative PVC pipe design enables seamless sliding under roof shingles to place lights along a roof's precise outline. By inserting lights into strategically drilled holes within the 1/2" PVC pipe, it effortlessly clicks into position using this ingenious design. The thoughtful consideration of making the PVC opening slightly wider allows for increased flexibility when inserting or removing the PVC, which is crucial during cold weather applications where the clips become inherently more brittle. Tailored for placing lights in areas that don't directly face the street, this unique version boasts a taller profile and an opposite-facing opening compared to standard clips. This clever design enables lights to be placed on roof profiles that face away from the street while still having them face towards it. Two versions are available: one with and one without the additional wire clip. For optimal results, we recommend printing in PETG at 35% infill and 2 walls.
