Shin & Star - Improved Version

The original design for this model came from the ShadowBox tool in ZBrush, a digital clay software package I am learning to use. From one perspective, it resembles the Hebrew letter "shin," while from another, it takes on the form of the Star of David. I later tweaked the design to make it more visually appealing; however, you can still access the original file if desired. I also added a photo showcasing a Shapeways print in Antique Bronze Glossy finish, which looks impressive and has a pleasant feel. To create this model, I employed ReplicatorG for file preparation, used a MakerBot Replicator2 with default Replicator 2 slicing settings, and set the printing specifications to Infill: 10%, Layer Height: 0.200, Shells: 1, Feedrate: 40, Travel Feed: 55, and Temperature: 220. A raft with full support was utilized during the printing process, which took over five hours to complete and consumed 48 grams of white ProtoParadigm PLA material.
