I made a set of custom ABS shims, ranging from 2.0 to 5.8 mm, incrementing by 0.2mm increments. Note that using cutting tools at high temperatures can cause the ABS shim to melt, so exercise caution and avoid loose tool bits when operating your lathe safely.
