This custom tool was inspired by the original TL-FC38 created by bazza_light. Shimano uses it exclusively to secure the lock-ring onto their chain ring on shimano steps electric bicycles. I modified its dimensions for an even better fit within the plastic chain ring guide and on the nut itself. The design also features a 32mm socket attachment, allowing you to opt for a shifter or spanner instead if needed. Be aware that it may require some extra force, as a breaker bar was necessary to loosen the nut initially.
