Shimano Reel Knob - For Sienna 2500 FD
thingiverse
A replacement handle knob for the Shimano Sienna 2500 FD (and possibly many others - see handle pic). This knob replaces the terrible "T" style knob with the slimmer version found on smaller, more expensive reels. Essentially, it's a precise replica of the Shimano one. Printed and functioning flawlessly. If it feels too loose or too tight, you may want to check your printer's tolerances since the design's intended tolerances print perfectly for me. The correct orientation is screw port side down (larger end) with the screw port plug facing downwards, largest diameter first. Printed using 2 perimeters and a 50% "Grid" infill, along with a 5-perimeter brim to assist with solid adhesion. Supports should only be placed inside the screw port. Post-processed by sanding with 240 grit, then 400 and 800 grit "Wet and Dry" to achieve a smooth finish. After that, it was oiled and fitted perfectly.
