I required a device to disassemble the spindle from my SPD pedals. Shimano offers the TL-PD40 for this specific task, but I lack a large enough wrench or the suitable Bottom Bracket tool to operate it effectively. Therefore, I created an alternative version that fits my existing Park Tool BBT-9 for my Hollowtech II BB setup. Additionally, I incorporated grip features around the edge for enhanced hand-turning control.
