Shimano I-Spec EV shifter to I-Spec B brake

**UPDATE IMPORTANT READ THIS:** So V007 failed after just a couple of excursions on my bike. It wasn't a catastrophic failure, but I was left with a dangling shifter and had to end my ride instantly. The way that Wolftooth handled this issue is by incorporating the insert into their design, see [picture on Wolftooth website](https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/products/shiftmount?variant=14423020732451). This adds stability and removes the square cutout which weakens the adapter severely. In the meantime, I am using the Wolftooth adapter which is a nifty piece of machined art and worth the 29 bucks they charge in my opinion. V008 mirrors the Wolftooth solution. Problem in this case turns out to be that there is no room for inserting an M5 hex nut (which is what the Shimano bolt requires) because an M5 hex nut has a wrench size of 8 mm and there's nowhere to place it. Therefore, the current solution is to screw the bolt directly into the printed part. Prusa does this in a couple of places, and there's no reason to assume that it wouldn't work. The hole is now designed in 4.5 mm diameter, so the bolt will be a snug fit but it should work. Because this is not tested yet, I am marking it as work in progress. Use at your own risk, and if you have feedback, let's hear it! **END UPDATE** I switched my bike to 1x12 and got all the new gear. I was surprised that the XT 8000 shifter wouldn't attach to my Shimano Zee brake, as I thought it would. I did find that there are adapters available to buy (WolfTooth for example make one), but of course my stubbornness kicked in and I thought "wouldn't that be a nice design task". Well, it was a nightmare in the end, I can tell you that much. The angles are all crooked, nothing is really perpendicular or parallel. But I did manage to get a working version on my bike that I can shift with. Because it's only 3D printed plastic, my version requires a zip tie around the handlebars. Otherwise it works totally fine. Use the supplied hardware from Shimano to attach it.
