Now available for purchase on my Etsy store.Tool to quickly differentiate between the 8/9/10 speed Shimano HG freehub and the newer 11 speed road width.Shimano HG freehubs come in two sizes - 8/9/10 speed and 11 speed. The difference is only 1.8mm so it's hard to visually gauge a freehub. This can be a problem if you grab a wheel for use with a road 11 speed drivetrain and find you can't install the last cog. Drop this on and the end of the freehub will line up with the end of the appropriate size. Quick and easy!Important notes:11 speed Shimano MTB cassettes offset the large cog and so fit on the narrower 8/9/10 cassette, as does the road 11-34 cassette. You may find the old 7 speed freehub which was narrower. If a freehub doesn't measure up to even the low step, that's likely what you've got. Some hub manufacturers offered single speed hubs with even narrower cassettes, but that should be pretty easy to spot visually.Which one to print? There are three versions that only differ in the wall thickness:ThinThe first one, 0.8mm thickness should print with 2 walls on most printers with a 0.4mm nozzle and a slicer like Cura.ThickThe second choice, thicker 2mm walls if that floats your boatPrusaMK3S 300If you have a Prusa MK3/MK3S and want it done quick - slice this one at 0.3mm as the 1.13mm wall thickness gives you two walls. Winds up a little bit ugly as you can see in the photos, but it's still perfectly usable.
