I streamlined my thru-axle setup by not needing the tool depth. Big thanks to the original creator - their design fits like a glove and can handle any torque! To prevent it from slipping off my 1/2" drive ratchet, I added some divots just like regular sockets. The modified Solidworks file is included for anyone interested. I built mine with four wall layers and six top/bottom surfaces using 40% rectilinear infill - maybe overkill, but who cares since it's so compact!
