Silence your noisy Shimano cockpit's brake and derailleur cables with a simple cable spacer. The clip comes in two sizes to fit different types of cables. A larger one is designed for brake hoses, while a smaller one fits shifting cables. These spacers are specifically made to work with Shimano hoses, which have diameters of 5.1mm and 4.3mm respectively. I'm not sure if they'll work with other brands of cables, but it's worth trying.
