I finally got around to replacing one of my brake tension screws on my bike, but not exactly as planned. With March 2020 looming large, a trip to the local bike shop just isn't an option right now. This is a temporary fix and only intended for emergency use. After experimenting with PLA, I've been pleasantly surprised by its performance in this application. However, I'm eager to try PETG next, which should be a more suitable material for the job. I'll add the locking collar as soon as possible and aim to create a customizable version down the line. The print appears dirty in the comparison photo because I had to remove it to take that shot.
