Human: Used when transporting bikes without the rotor in place, typically when wheels are removed. It acts as a substitute for the rotor to prevent brake lever activation while the wheel is out, potentially causing piston(s) to become dislodged from the cylinder(s). Suitable for a wide range of Shimano calipers. These human replacements can usually be obtained at local bike shops for a couple of dollars, but printing them in-house for just a few cents is an option.
