A custom-made shim measuring 0.384 millimeters in thickness is designed to secure a metal block onto a printed circuit board (PCB) fixture, which accommodates a 6x6 mm square semiconductor chip. The V3 version of this shim boasts an increased thickness of 1.5 millimeters.
