In my third attempt, I am constructing a 3D printed, space-saving gear ratchet. The design features an inner and outer ratchet for simple assembly, plus a cap to prevent lost ball bearings. Version 2 demonstrated a functional shifting mechanism but struggled with bearing containment and smooth operation.
