Shifter Cable Bushing

Human: GM Console Bushing for Many 99-Up Vehicles. Tried all Dorman shifter bushings available for GM, but none fit despite application guides saying they will. (My vehicle is a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT.) After struggling for hours and wasting too much money on bushings that wouldn't work, I created my own using precise measurements and had it printed with TPU. It fits perfectly in the first try. To install the bushing, use channel locks or a C-clamp to push it into the cable housing. Make sure to have something flat between the cable housing and tool on the opposite side of the bushing to avoid damaging it. Insert the bushing from the passenger's side into the cable housing first.
