30 years of UV light has wrecked all the plastics in my car. the shift boot grommet fell apart on me during the course of some work requiring the removal of the interior trim. This piece is designed to pair with one of my shift knobs and replace the stock grommet. It secures to the boot using the same method and the same rubber band as the stock grommet
