Shield Visor frame PPE Verkstan remix by Marsh 2 piece
thingiverse
I adapted the visor PPE face shield frame design from Erik Cederberg / 3DVerkstan / Faceshield.nu, but it wouldn't fit on my print beds, and many printers can only handle two. So, I split it in half and made them click together very securely. Now, I can print six halves at a time on my beds. I print with Onyx from Markforged, using the left V3 file and the right V3 file. Check out this video of them being assembled: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_3oyvoBWq0 One person told me that theirs cracked when assembled, so I created a V4 right-hand side (the male) that trimmed .002" off the entire profile. If your material cracks with the V3 file, try using the V4. Let's keep up the good fight! Hospitals in New York State are truly appreciating these donations. Please leave feedback and if you distribute my click remix elsewhere, be sure to mention my name. For more information on clear visors, check out Erik's website at 3DVerkstan.se. You can make them with a 3-hole puncher and spacer that you print.
