Shield Handle - Ritter Schild Griff

Shield Handle - Ritter Schild Griff

thingiverse

I designed a knight shield handle and a simple sword grip for young knights-in-training. The handle not only gives the cardboard shield its proper shape but also makes it easy to hold onto. Four zip ties secure the cardboard in place, while hot glue provides additional stability. This shield is quite large, measuring 240x250mm, making it an ideal fit for a Prusa i3 mk3 printer's print area. I printed it using a 0.8mm nozzle, which kept the printing time manageable. Fortunately, the print didn't require any support structures. To create the sword handle, I selected a suitable piece of wood measuring 30x15mm.
