This symbol depicts a shield emblazoned with the Spanish coat of arms, comprising eight acanthus rosettes arranged on the upper section of an ornate gold ring. Divided into four quadrants by cross-like partitions, the shield features three distinctive scenes: First quarter - in gold and featuring a lion facing the right with a crimson tongue extended; fifth from left. Second quarter - within crimson tones lies a fortified stronghold adorned in bright gold and covered with darker gray flags. Third quarter - set against an azure backdrop stand two imposing Corinthian pillars constructed of gold, entwined with a silvery band. Emblazoned on the ribbon are vibrant red letterings reading "Plus Ultra." The waves at both the top and bottom ends alternate between blue and silver colors. Lastly, superimposed upon this grand structure lies an additional emblem; an oblong shield decorated with the shape of a verdant oak, complete with gold-plated leaves emanating from its branches.
