Sherman Trap holder

Sherman Trap holder

thingiverse

This is a design that I made after not wanting to carry a plywood box around for sherman traps in the field. The hole at the top allows a 1/2" dowel (it is a tight fit so make sure your printer is tuned or you can edit to another size hole) to fit through so that you can string several of them together. I found that the dowels I got from Home Depot are best cut in half and you can fit 16 traps (8 of these holders) with comfort. If you do not cut the dowel in half or add a lot of these holders, the dowel will bend and it doesn't make for an easy carry. To use, you will need to turn the top of the trap perpendicular to the holder before inserting. Repeat on the other side. See example here https://youtu.be/s9TkSOvjTrw Photo is of me trying to hold 26 of them before I decided I needed to cut the dowel in half.
