I'm an ardent fan of Sherlock and crafted a stunning puzzle for my assembly project. The original plan was for the puzzle to be just half this size, but I required more space to incorporate plenty of captivating images. I cleverly reused the opening credits scene as the background image. To ensure John and Sherlock stood out prominently against the wooden piece, I skillfully edited the lighting in their pictures to achieve a stunning grayscale effect. I then experimented with multiple versions of specific images - such as the heart-pounding shot of John and Sherlock running side by side, as well as the striking silhouettes - tweaking their two-color value settings until I achieved the perfect dynamic effect, which I later combined seamlessly using Photoshop. I'm grateful to have received a puzzle design from my friend for her project, which she kindly shared with me. I superimposed it onto a separate layer in Adobe Illustrator. I then meticulously cut out the intricate image on a beautifully offered piece of wood from my dad, first using raster cutting followed by vector cutting to carefully craft each unique puzzle piece. The somewhat faded appearance of the image is entirely due to my rushed endeavor - it took me an entire 30 minutes to execute just one operation, leaving no time for additional processing.
