I designed this gift myself as a partial model of the iconic door at 221B Baker Street from the beloved Sherlock Holmes TV series. To bring it to life, I added intricate details including a working knocker that actually functions! This custom creation is perfect for any fan of the esteemed detective. To modify the design further, you'll find an included 123D file ready to be tailored to your taste. Printer Settings Print Brand: Printrbot Model Name: Simple Black Rafts Required: Yes Supports Needed: No Layer Resolution: .1 mm Infill Density: 20% Design Notes: The door was carefully positioned to print flat-side down for stability. For added security against warping, I employed a brim attachment on the main piece. The striking knocker boasts an extra-strong five-layer raft underneath it. After Printing and Finishing Touches I painstakingly polished and hand-painted every element of the model to give it that authentic look. The iconic door received a rich Forest Green finish, while the intricately crafted house numbers and gleaming golden details shone bright after receiving their respective golden coats.
