Sherline electronics bracket

This bracket enables direct clamping of your Sherline lathe's speed controller onto the motor, eliminating the need for a belt guard to hold the electronics box. I made this modification because the belt guard on my Sherline lathe posed a significant obstacle when removing the belt and motor to switch between normal turning and thread cutting. However, running without the belt guard increases risk, so you must be aware of what you're doing when using this setup. To install it, remove the plastic "hinge plate" (Sherline #43120), drill two countersunk holes for M3 screws 80mm apart, attach the hinge plate to the bracket's top part, and reinstall the assembly on the electronics controller. Next, clamp the two halves onto the motor using nuts in the side cavities. I've included my SolidWorks 2014 source files with this setup.
