If you downloaded prior to this update, it's recommended that you grab the new ones.** **Please leave feedback if you'd like any changes or additional styles / versions or sizes.** This was a surprisingly simple problem I encountered while searching for a quality RC hinge on here that was designed correctly. Most of the hinges I tried had very poor tolerances or didn't work at all due to small hinge pin holes that ended up being barely wide enough after printing, or the joint wouldn't fit together as if there were no tolerances put into the design. So I decided to create my own and make them available here for everyone. Properly designed hinges so you can use them straight from your printer without a lot of extra work and modification. No sanding or drilling required to clean things up and make it usable. Intended for RC stuff, but can be used with anything else as well. Designed to be glued to the surface it hinges or socketed into wings. Print settings don't matter at all. Designed for 20 gauge wire (0.81mm) which is the diameter of standard size paper clips and commonly used in other wire types. For example, any forestry shop or even home depot or lowes should carry forestry wire for holding plant stems to posts, this commonly comes in 20 guage and works great for hinge wire, for a few dollars you can get 20 two foot wires that'll last forever. Any wire under 1.0mm will work fine as well. (1mm wire might be just a little tight to get through) I'll upload obj files as soon as I can so everyone can download and modify if they need.
