Shepherd Spearman - Solid
thingiverse
Stockto's Shepherd Spearman strikes a powerful "kamehameha" pose.\nIt sliced flawlessly in Makerbot Desktop but struggled in S3D, so I employed meshmixer to "make solid."\nBy splitting the hands and spear from the rest of the model and rotating the parts, I enabled easier printing with fewer supports. The spear proves much stronger when printed flat.\nStockto designed this using the DesktopHero app he's currently kickstarting: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/263291121/desktophero-free-3d-printable-character-maker\n(I'm a backer and supporter of the kickstarter, but not affiliated with it in any way)\nPrint Settings\nPrinter: FFCP\nRafts: Irrelevant\nSupports: Yes\nResolution: 0.1 mm\nInfill: 40%\nNotes: This printed beautifully with Hatchbox wood filament (0.4mm nozzle, 190C).\nThe filament makes supports easy to remove :)\nPost-Printing\nRemove supports, attach hands to arms (I used cyanoacrylate)
