Shemagh Nose Bridge

Shemagh Nose Bridge

thingiverse

I recently encountered an issue with scarf face coverings that made breathing extremely difficult due to their tendency to smash against my nose. As you may know, many states and counties are now requiring facial coverings or masks to help contain the spread of Covid-19. To solve this problem, I began searching for a solution that would prevent my shemagh from smashing into my nose. This led me to design a custom bridge piece that fits perfectly in the center of the shemagh, oriented diagonally, and prevents fogging of eye glasses. When using this design, the mask closely follows your face's movements rather than your head turning inside the mask. To put it on, roll the shemagh twice around the bridge and tie it securely to your head. This piece is specifically designed for my face but can be easily adapted to fit others. This design was modeled after a piece of solid core copper wire that was bent into the shape of my face using Fusion 360 software. My son helped me create this custom-sized piece, which should also work well for others.
