Spring Spacer for the Nerf ShellStrike DS-6 Blaster

prints in two halves so you can install them into the plunger head without removing the plunger rod. (see photo, yellow spacer)

In theory, there is still more room for spring compression; but I didn't want to risk it. The DS-6 has a weak plunger rod. If you want to experiment with z-scaling the spacer; in theory it could be up to 12mm tall. (current file is 8mm)

-DANGER: the DS-6 blaster has a weak plunger rod; people have already broken theirs by using Upgraded Springs.

a Spacer is by no means as strong as an Upgrade Spring, but the risk is still there.

Spring Stop Plate Reinforcement

This plate reinforces the thin internal shell wall that the spring rests against.

Priming Reinforcement

These small tabs insert into the priming handle to (theoretically) increase the surface area that engages the priming rod; to reduce the odds of breaking it.

(epoxy recommended)
Category: Toys & Games
