The German "2.8 cm schwere Panzerbüchse 41 (sPzB 41)" featured a heavy anti-tank rifle shell, APCNR-T with a wolfram carbide core. The metal alloy used in production from 1941 to 1945 contained soft steel, manganese, phosphorus, and sulfur. Concurrently, the core hardalloy (1941-1943) consisted of tungsten, carbon, manganese, nickel, and iron with a polished tip. The core's hardness ranged from 90 to 92 on the Rockwell scale. Notably, the head part painting was black in color.
