Shelf supports for Stack-On safe
thingiverse
These are shelf supports designed specifically for a Stack-On GCB-900 safe. I've researched some reviews of the shelves, which revealed concerns about their weakness and tendency to bow or cave in over time due to excessive weight. As a precautionary measure, I created these two simple support units as a safeguard. The supports stand 5.875 inches tall from the bottom of the unit to the underside of the first shelf, including a foam bottom pad for added stability. From the top of the bottom shelf to the underside of the top shelf, they are 4.125 inches tall. The landings on each support are 1.5 inches wide, and all parts are 6 inches deep. My plan is to install them at the center of the unit, securing them with tape if a snug friction fit isn't achieved. These supports were printed using low-quality material with minimal infill (25%) and no additional supports to simplify cleanup. The underside of each support has some minor jagged edges, but with gentle sanding and a clear coat application, they will be fully functional and visually appealing.
