Replacing a part quickly with PLA material, even at its heaviest weight, is entirely possible. Printing these parts with a 0.3 layer thickness instead of 0.2 and increasing infill will make them significantly stronger. However, if weight is a critical factor, metal parts might be a more suitable option. The original design featured a 5mm pin, but if it's too tight, you can either use a die to shave down the pin or switch to a 4mm pin file. These designs are meant to print without supports.
