Shelf Support

Shelf Support

thingiverse

Working with kitchen cabinets involves installing metal shelf supports that hold wooden shelves from one side of the cabinet to the other, typically two sides with holes running vertically up and down each side. I required a modular shelf for holding water bottles, so I designed this solution. The holes are specifically designed to accommodate 3/8 inch dowels. The Shelf Support features three pegs that fit into four 4.85 mm peg holes, spaced 31.75 mm apart, with a total length of 120 mm. The Shelf Leg boasts a 25-degree leg for creating a slanted shelf. The Quarter Support measures 25 mm in length, while the Half Support measures 65 mm. Dividers and Shorter Dividers are used to add support or rigidity between two dowels, available in lengths of 120 mm and 80 mm. I printed this design using wood filament and a 6mm nozzle.
